33 deaths and 400 confirmed cases INFLUENZA A
MONTEVIDEO, 8 (UPI) - Influenza A (H1N1) caused 33 deaths so far in Uruguay, confirmed today the Public Health Minister Maria Julia Muñoz, while a report confirmed a total of 400 cases in the country and decline since July.
According to a study released today by the Ministry of Public Health, where consultation with the virus fell from 500 in the first half of July to 210 in August.
For its part, truancy was their peak before the July holidays at a rate of 140 students by 1000, when the usual average for this time of year is 40 in 1000, according to the report.
The capital Montevideo was the area that recorded more cases, a total of 235, followed by the department (province) of Cologne in the west, with 115 cases.

The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) confirmed 400 infected and 33 died of influenza in the country since the start of the pandemic, reports the daily Ultimas Noticias today.
According to health data, 48.5% of patients had risk factors and 51% were women. According to MSP, H1N1 influenza cases continue to decline, resulting in the decline in the number of queries as in reducing truancy.
From May 27 through August 28 there were 400 people infected with influenza A, of which 51% are women. Most cases are concentrated in individuals 10 to 49 years old. Moreover, 48.5% of confirmed cases have risk factors that aggravate the flu in the body box
