Over on the social media side we have been busy tonight dealing with reports of tremors, booms, and shakes across Alabama.

To me it seems like many of the ?Bama Booms? tonight have been consistent with sonic booms, from military jets that exceed the speed of sound.

But, this afternoon around 4:30? there are no real answers. I had reports of the ground shaking, very loud, explosive type booms, ratting dishes, and shaking windows from about 10 counties across Central Alabama, with the most intense reports from parts of Chilton, Bibb, southern Shelby, and Coosa counties....

There were some unexplained explosions in Ohio last month, but on a smaller scale:

FRANKLIN SQUARE - Recent explosions in Salem Township have caused additional problems for one veteran suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

John Caldwell, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Bosnia, Somalia and 11 months in Desert Storm from 1987 through 2004, was diagnosed with PTSD while in the service.

He has heard several explosion. "I haven't slept for almost two months. I thought I was having an auditory hallucination," he said after one explosion...
