- під час епідемічного підйому захворюваності на грип нові діти в дитячі установи не приймаються;

- дверні ручки, крани в умивальниках, поверхні унітазів повинні декілька разів на день оброблятися дезінфікуючими розчинами;
- весь персонал установи повинен часто мити руки з милом;
- на час епідемії (пандемії) персонал установи повинен носити марлеві пов'язки;
- за межами дитячої установи персоналу слід уникати перебування в місцях скупчення людей, контакту з хворими на грип людьми;
- старших дітей необхідно навчити часто мити руки з милом;
- старших дітей необхідно навчити кашляти і чхати в серветку або руку. Після чого обов'язково серветку викинути в корзину, а руки помити з милом;
