Ukraine's southern Mykolayiv region as of April 1 reported no confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus, the press service of the regional state administration reports. This the last Ukrainian region with zero stats on Covid-19. Over the past day, five local residents reported to hospitals to be tested for coronavirus. In total, since the beginning of 2020, a total of 56 people have sought medical treatment with suspicion of COVID-19. Fifty people were hospitalized. Fifty-four people were PCR-tested for COVID-19. Today 49 people have a negative result and five tests are being processed," the report says. As UNIAN reported earlier, a total of 794 confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported in Ukraine.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said 161 people infected with COVID-19 coronavirus were detected in the capital city. Twelve patients have recovered, while one person has died. "The number of Kyiv residents with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus is 161 people and, unfortunately, one case is fatal – a 70-year-old man died," he said this at an online briefing, an UNIAN correspondent reports. According to Klitschko, 29 new cases were registered in Kyiv over the past day: 19 men aged 22-70 and 10 women aged 36-62. "Eighteen patients were hospitalized. Four of them were transferred to clinical hospital No. 5, and nine people to hospital No. 7. Another three patients were transferred to the Oleksandrivska Hospital, and two were admitted to Hospital No. 3. Eleven Kyiv patients are being treated at home, on self-isolation, under medical supervision," he said.

Caretakers of public cemeteries in Dnipro, a city in southeastern Ukraine, have been ordered to dig 600 graves and thousands of body bags have been preordered for potential coronavirus victims. Bulldozers could be seen working for days in several of Dnipro's cemeteries. City authorities told Current Time they wanted to be prepared in advance, but also to show residents that it's important to observe the mandatory quarantine. Nevertheless, many could be seen on April 3 in city parks and playgrounds without protective face masks.
