38 cases of avian influenza recorded in Lviv region

On Saturday, February 1, during an inspection of the floodplains of the Western Bug River in the Sheptytskyi district of Lviv region, 38 dead swans were found. This was reported by the Sheptytskyi City Council.

The inspection was conducted between the villages of Volswin, Bendyuga, and the city of Sheptytskyi after local fishermen previously discovered two dead swans. Laboratory tests confirmed avian influenza in one of them.​..
