Donetsk region covers the second wave of influenza. 17 schools already in quarantine

In the Donetsk region in 17 secondary schools re-suspended the educational process because of the increasing incidence of influenza and SARS schoolchildren.

This was reported by the acting chief sanitary doctor of Donetsk region Larisa Guseva.

According to her, in the absence of studies from 25% to 76% of pupils suspended the educational process from 1 December to 30 classes of 14 schools in Mariupol, 3 classes of one school of the city of Kirov and in schools and villages Yampil Scars Krasnolimanskaya area.

Gusev noted that in the Donetsk region, an increase in the incidence of influenza and SARS. Thus, over the past day there were 6182 appeals influenza patients, respiratory infections and their complications, which is twice more than the previous day, reported UNIAN.

From October 30 the total number of cases in the area of 121 thousand 692, including children under 18 - 48 thousand 199.

According Guseva, from the beginning of epidperioda died with a diagnosis of "pneumonia" 32 people, including three children.

In 16 samples of sectioned material of the dead, investigated in Central SES in Kiev and Donetsk Oblast SES, revealed the presence of influenza A/H1N1.

Option influenza A/H1N1, as of December 2, confirmed in 70 patients.
