In total, 163 ASF outbreaks were registered in Ukraine in 2017.

Ukraine's State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service says veterinary experts have reported another African swine fever (ASF) outbreak in Cherkasy region's Smila district.

In particular, one ASF case was registered in the said region for the reporting period from December 12 to December 19. Corpses of domestic pigs (the owner is not identified) were found at a distance of about four kilometers from the village of Serdyukivka, according to the agency's press service.

Lab tests conducted by experts confirmed the animals there had been infected...

...Some 140 ASF outbreaks have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of 2018, according to the data released by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) within the FAO technical assistance project, titled "Capacity development in early detection and response to African Swine Fever (ASF) in Ukraine."
