A ?tsunami? of hepatitis C cases is threatening to ?engulf? the health service, a report warns today.
The NHS faces a huge bill unless GPs do more to identify and treat the blood-borne virus, according to a panel of MPs and health experts including the Hepatitis C Trust.
Their report warns the South Asian community is particularly at risk, including people from Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
