A pupil at a St Austell secondary school has been admitted to hospital with meningitis. A letter has been distributed to all parents and carers of children at Penrice Academy informing them of the news.
The student was said to be responding well to treatment and staff were keen to stress that life at the school will carry on as normal. The age of the child is not known at present...
