Officials from Defra were called to Telford today after two dead ducks were found by the side of a busy road with no obvious signs of injury.
Clare Vaughan, of McCormick Drive, Shawbirch, found the ducks on Shawbirch Road.
She said she contacted Defra because the ducks did not look as though they had been hit by a car and she was worried about bird flu. A spokesman for Defra said: ?The ducks will be taken away and tested.?
