The patient, a resident of Nsaasi village in Nakaseke Sub County was admitted at Nakaseke Hospital on August 20 with symptoms of Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic fever. The symptoms include high grade fever, oral sores, headache, abdominal pain and diarrhea, among others.
The patient was subsequently isolated together with another patient from Nakigulube village in Nakaseke Sub County who was confirmed positive after tests conducted by Uganda Virus Research Institute. It's now reported that the patient aged 48 died on Friday...
