The government has confirmed a measles outbreak in Hoima District. ?The samples that we obtained from patients were taken to the Uganda Virus Research Institute at Entebbe and they have tested positive,? the Hoima District Health Officer, Dr Joseph Ruyonga, told this newspaper on Friday.

The measles outbreak has been confirmed in Kaseeta Parish in Kabwooya Sub-county and is reportedly feared to be spreading to Kyangwali and Kiziranfumbi sub-counties...
