Due to the fact that the Russian Federation is free from avian influenza virus, the territory of the Udmurt Republic in 2010 year is not included in the zone of risk of occurrence and spread of the disease. Therefore, vaccination of poultry dropped, and today in the republic is carried out only monitoring studies of blood serum, the biomaterial from poultry and wild birds.
