SEOUL, Feb 13 (Reuters) - U.S. corn prices rose 1 percent on Friday on news that weekly corn exports hit a one-year high last week as demand from Asia picked up on expectations of a rise in ocean freight rates.
The USDA reported on Thursday that more than 1.5 million tonnes of U.S. corn had been sold overseas over the past week, up 33 percent from the previous week and 73 percent higher than the prior four-week average.
