TB investigation at halfway house in El Paso

The El Paso Department of Public Health is investigating a possible tuberculosis exposure at a halfway house in South-Central El Paso, an official said today.

Health department officials are at the Dismas Charities facility at 7011 Alameda...

Dismas residents say person tested positive for TB

EL PASO, Texas ? Residents living at Dismas Charities Inc. tell KFOX14 a resident living at the facility has received positive test results for tuberculosis.

A woman living at the facility said the male resident was told to leave the facility, get on a bus and go to the hospital. The woman did not want to give her name because talking with media can violate the terms of her probation...

...Dismas Charities is regulated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The bureau tells CBS4 inmates in federal custody are tested for TB every three years while they are in prison.
