Two cattle died of anthrax in the village of St. George near Ulcinj,
confirmed the Veterinary Administration of Montenegro.

Earlier this week was the first registered case of bovine uginato
anthrax in the municipality of Ulcinj. Experts believe the outbreak of anthrax would

PODGORICA - In the municipality of Ulcinj has been confirmed by a case of diseases of cattle anthrax and undertake all measures to prevent the spread of this dangerous disease. The case was registered in the village of St. George, located near the border with Albania, Montenegrin media have reported.

Laboratory tests have confirmed that the ox died as a result of the disease. Anthrax can be transmitted to humans and so is the area where the disease was registered introduced measures prohibiting movement of animals, grazing and sales, as well as the slaughter of sick animals.
