Two cows die of anthrax in Montenegro

Two cattle died of anthrax in the village of St. George near Ulcinj,
confirmed the Veterinary Administration of Montenegro.
Earlier this week was the first registered case of bovine uginato
anthrax in the municipality of Ulcinj. Experts believe the outbreak of anthrax would
could be a consequence of major floods that hit in January Ulcinj
year.
With the anthrax bacterium can infect man, but only through direct contact
with the infected animal. The anthrax bacteria can survive in soil and 70
years.
