Anyone else watch the TV Premier of Jericho? The show itself was...alright...maybe it'll get better...but what I wanted to bring up is that maybe...just possibly...it might be people to think about preps.

Just a thought.

I was hoping the same thing....in fact, I found it eerily too plausible- considering that this it what AQ has been threatening for awhile.

I really think this show can help get folks to start thinking about preps as well as possible issues (as well how to handle those issues) that could arrise if a substantial pandemic were to occur.

Thanks MHSC for pointing out that the episodes are available online:

Re: TV Premier of Jericho help get people thinking about preps

We've been watching the series and the lack of supplies and services is bound to cause more people to think about general preparedness. The show is very popular too so it could have a major impact, intentional or not.

Re: TV Premier of Jericho help get people thinking about preps

I watch very little TV, so I was unaware of this show until I found this thread tonight. I was really mad I missed it since this is the rare type of show that I would watch (I love "24" - but bought each season on DVD 'cause I kept missing it :p ). I just visited the Jericho site and to make a long story shorter, the complete episodes can be watched online! So, if you know someone who may enjoy the show or if you missed an episode, go here: http://tinyurl.com/zk2lu
Click on "FULL EPISODES OF JERICHO" in the middle of the page. The newest episode will appear at the top.

Thanks for the tip!

Re: TV Premier of Jericho help get people thinking about preps

It is apparently popular enough that CBS ordered a full season's worth of episodes. I agree that this show will help people think about preparation. The show is going down a similar road to the old Cold War novel Alas, Babylon, albeit with a 21st Century twist and a change of locations (from Central Florida to rural Kansas).
