Covid-19: 864 people reached in Tunisia

The Ministry of Health announced on Friday, April 17, 2020, the registration of 42 new Covid-19 cases, until the date of Thursday, April 16, 2020, on 710 analyzes. Thus, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases is now at 864 out of a total of 14,640 screening analyzes carried out since the appearance of the first Covid-19 case in Tunisia.
Tunisia also has 37 deaths, depending on the department: 5 in Sfax, 5 in Sousse, 5 in Ariana, 1 in Kef, 1 in Mahdia, 1 in Tataouine, 1 in Bizerte, 5 in Tunis, 3 in M?denine , 5 at Manouba, 1 at Sidi Bouzid, 1 at Nabeul, 3 at Ben Arous.
The Ministry of Health has also announced that since March 22, 2020, 2,905 Tunisian nationals have been repatriated, of which 1,595 have completed the quarantine period. 32 of these 1595 people tested positive for Covid-19. They were placed in specific self-isolation centers. As of April 16, 2020, 3,500 people who have had direct contact with the Covid-19 confirmed cases have been confined.
