Vietnam's A/H1N1 flu cases rise to 703

HANOI, July 29 (Xinhua) -- The Vietnamese Ministry of Health confirmed 31 more cases of A/H1N1 influenza, raising the total number of flu patients in the country to 703, local newspaper the People reported Wednesday.

Among the 31 cases, 22 patients are in the south, three in the north, one in the central and five in highland provinces, said the ministry.

In Hanoi, the Steering Committee for Human A/H1N1 Influenza Prevention of the capital city had an emergency meeting on Tuesday after a man working in a large office building found positive to the A/H1N1 virus.
