Top medical official confirms 2nd wave of swine flu has arrived in Ontario

TORONTO ? Ontario's chief medical officer of health is confirming that the second wave of H1N1 has arrived in Ontario.
Dr. Arlene King says there's been an increase of swine flu cases in the province.
King says 28 people in the province who contracted swine flu have died since April, up one from the 27 reported earlier this week.
Ottawa approved the H1N1 vaccine on Wednesday, and King says 722,000 doses of the vaccine will have arrived at province's 36 local health units by day's end today.
They will be offered to certain high-risk groups starting Monday.
That includes adults under the age of 65 with chronic conditions, health-care workers, caregivers for high-risk groups, people living in remote and isolated communities, pregnant women and healthy children six months to five years of age.
King says a second shipment of vaccine is expected to arrive sometime next week.
Last Friday, health officials in British Columbia said the second wave of H1N1 had arrived in their province.
