Avian flu: American assistance The Embassy of the United States offered to the Togolese authorities, of the equipment of taking away and decontamination of avian flu. On the whole 40 African countries already received this material on behalf of the United States. Togo worked out in February 2006, a national plan of fight against the avian flu, in particular comprising a national alarm system, the medical staff training and the reinforcement of the monitoring.
