The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Togo has just increased this Wednesday, April 15. According to the data presented today, four (4) new patients tested positive this morning out of 230 screened.

It is :

-A 27-year-old Togolese man living in Lom?, who had contact with a confirmed case.

-A 35-year-old Togolese woman living in Lom?, who had contact with a confirmed case.

-A 39-year-old Togolese woman living in Lom?, who had contact with a confirmed case.

-A 63-year-old Togolese woman living in Lom?, who had contact with a confirmed case.

In addition, it should be noted that three (3) new patients are cured, now bringing to 35, the number of patients who have recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Togo.

To date, a total of 3,036 screening tests have been carried out throughout the national territory. These tests detected 81 confirmed cases of contamination, 43 of which are still active, 35 cured and 3 deceased.

Togo has just registered new deaths linked to the coronavirus. According to data presented by the Covid-19 communication cell, 2 people died from the disease today.

These new deaths bring to 5 the total number of deaths linked to the new coronavirus in Togo.

Two patients, 63 and 39 years old, were reported to have died on the evening of April 15. One died during transfer to the treatment center and the other died on admission to the center.

To date, Togo has recorded 81 confirmed cases of Covid-19 patients, of which 31 are still active, 45 have been cured and 5 have died. A total of 3,618 tests have been carried out across the country since the onset of the disease.

A new patient tested positive on 265 screened this morning. It is a 33-year-old Togolese woman living in Lom? who had contact with a confirmed case. A new patient recovered, bringing the number of Covid-19 patients healed in Togo to 49 out of a total of 84 confirmed cases, 30 of which are still active and 5 have died.

Forty-two (42) officers from the University Hospital Center (CHU) Sylvanus Olympio were placed in quarantine following the death of two patients confirmed with coronavirus (Covid-19), and passed by the emergency and pulmonology departments of the hospital .

"He is a general practitioner, 13 doctors in specialization (DS), 9 interns, 3 students, 10 nurses and senior technicians then 6 nurses and as soon as the cases were tested positive, they were confined home, ”director general, doctor-colonel Adom Wiyao Kpao confirmed on Friday.

Togo has on this date of April 18, 2020, 84 confirmed cases, 30 active cases, 49 people recovered and 5 deaths.

To date, a total of 4,191 tests have been carried out across the country.

Tested positive on April 17 and admitted to the treatment center, the 28-day-old infant died of Covid-19 infection. Information collected relayed by the site set up by the government. The country thus records its 6th death linked to the disease.

The same source is also said to have recovered a patient. This brings the number of patients cured of the disease to 53. As of the 86 tests done on April 20, 2020, no positive cases have been reported.

In summary, 84 cases are confirmed, 53 patients are cured, 26 are on treatment and 6 died.

Togo has just registered two new coronavirus positive cases on Wednesday, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 88 across the country.

They are two men, one 65, the other 42. All Togolese living in Lom?, "having had contact with a confirmed case", according to figures updated this Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 11 hours 21 minutes.

With a set of 4,733 tests carried out since the first case detected, Togo currently has 88 coronavirus patients, including 56 active cases, 56 cures and 06 deaths.

Once again an opportunity to call on us to respect the barrier measures taken by the authorities, in order to curb the pandemic.

The number of positive coronavirus cases has just experienced a new increase in Togo. According to data published this Sunday, April 26, there are 2 new positive cases.

These new positive cases bring to 98 the total number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 in Togo.

Togo currently registers 99 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. The desert is obviously still long to cross.

The figures of these 48 hours concerning the situation of the coronavirus in Togo are alarming. After registering Wednesday 1 death and 10 contaminations, the count Thursday 7 new patients tested positive on the 207 screened. At the same time, 2 other deaths are reported.

Regarding new contaminations, 1 case was registered in Lom? with a Togolese woman of 30 years who was a suspect case. At Cinkasse 2 Togolese who are travelers have tested positive.

In Dapaong, a 2 year old, a 13 month old infant, a 10 year old boy, and a 22 year old woman who tested positive.

If a new patient has recovered, bringing the total number of patients cured of COVID-19 to 65, the deaths are also linked. Two new deaths were recorded on Thursday, namely 2 children 13 months and 10 years old.

Note that to date, Togo has recorded 116 confirmed cases of COVID-19 contamination, of which 42 are active, 65 have been cured and 9 have died.

A total of 6,882 screening tests were carried out across the country.

Covid-19: Two new cases at Gando and Dapaong

Two new positive cases for the coronavirus were declared by the government this morning, including one in Gando (South Oti) and another in Dapaong (T?ne).

Both cases were found in the north of the country, more precisely in the Savannah region. A 29-year-old man was tested positive for Gando. He would have returned from a trip.

In Dapaong, it is rather a 40-year-old woman, resident in Dapaong, who had contact with a confirmed case.

The two cases were therefore found after 466 tests on people who had contact with confirmed cases.

In contrast, 7 new patients recovered, bringing the total number of COVID-19 patients to 74. Lom? and the center of the country and the Savannah region are the three zones of presence of the coronavirus.

No new deaths were recorded this morning.
