No one knew how the little girl ended up alone, in the Indiana field. Nor did they know who the toddler with blond hair and blue eyes was.

They did know that she needed help....

Updates: 23 deaths reported in Kentucky, Indiana

There were four deaths reported in Jefferson County, Ind., including a 4-year-old who was found alongside his great-grandparents.

Four people were found dead in a structure along Old Pekin Road in Washington County, according to Sheriff Claude Combs. The victims were a family ? two adults, a child and a baby, he said.
