DICKSON, TN (WSMV) -

The most prevalent strain of the flu this year is H1N1, which was first identified in 2009 and became known for killing people who were otherwise healthy.

Chastina Allsup came down with the H1N1 flu strain in 2009, and it almost killed her.

She says it's a miracle she's still alive.

"It is very hard. I still have trouble with it, and I still have those scars," she said.
