NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Confirmed flu cases are beginning to show up in Middle Tennessee. Dr. William Schaffner, chair of Vanderbilt University's infectious disease department, is concerned the flu may get an early running start and continue to spread rapidly from there.
