TN: 9 deaths in March - total 69

I have a contact at the Tennessee Department of Health. This morning he informed me that Tennessee recorded 5 deaths in Jan/Feb and then 9 more in March, bringing the total to 69.

Most of the new flu activity and deaths have been in eastern TN and they are very concerned.
