In Tennessee, the incidence of pertussis - "whooping cough" - almost doubled over the past two years.
Tennessee went from 107 cases in 2008 of the bacterial infection, which causes severe coughing for about six weeks, to 206 in 2010. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports similar trends nationwide...
