Three more people in London-Middlesex have died after getting the flu

That?s according to a report released Thursday from the Middlesex-London Health Unit.

Officials says between January 29th and February 4th a total of 16 new cases of Influenza A were reported to the Health Unit.

And, while no new cases were reported from Feb. 5-11 three Influenza deaths were confirmed for officials.

Since the beginning of the flu season there have been 422 confirmed cases of Influenza A, 264 hospitalizations and 23 deaths.

This winter there were 30 outbreaks declared in long-term care homes and five in hospitals.

The Health Unit is still asking residents to get a flu shot.

Clinic are open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-4 at the M-L-H-U?s King Street office.
