In accordance with the Municipal General office of Health of Guarapuava, the campaign of vaccination against the flu initiated into the day 05 of May, already vaccinated 88,33 % of the population that would need to take the vaccine. In this group they are included old, children and pregnant women.
The campaign attended 3605 children between six months to one year, 2552 workers of health, 1560 pregnant women, 23 natives, 13881 old ones, in a total of 21563 administered doses.
The Municipal General office of Health is in constant inquiry to monitor the types of viruses that circulate in the Local authority. From the beginning of the year, these studies on the respiratory viruses are done weekly, in what there is carried out the collection of samples of patients.
Of the winter beginning up to the moment there were notified 247 cases of respiratory syndromes in which 13 patients needed of hospitalization.
