Thirteen patients affected by norovirus in Vicenza hospital

Vicenza. Norovirus infection at San Bortolo. Two departments where visits are prohibited in some cases. Medicine on the fifth floor of the block and Geriatrics in the sixth. Signs at the entrance, as evidenced by the photo beside, advising against the entrance to family members. So far, 13 cases between patients already are admitted, and a couple of nurses, although for the latter there are still ongoing medical investigations. Activate all the countermeasures envisaged by the protocols within the Ulss 6 which consist in the use of masks and gowns for relatives wishing to visit the sick anyway.
