Third inmate dies of swine flu in Calif prisons

(12-03) 16:50 PST Sacramento, Calif. (AP) -- Health officials say a central California inmate who died last week was the prison system's third death from swine flu.
The first two inmates died in mid-November at prisons in central and Southern California. The third inmate died Nov. 27.
The receiver in charge of prison medical care says tests show the H1N1 virus killed all three inmates.
A spokesman for the receiver, Luis Patino, says privacy rules bar officials from naming the specific prisons or giving other identifying information.
