Rhode Island Department of Health website is reporting a 3rd death.

August 5, 2009
Rhode Island: HEALTH has confirmed 199 positive cases, 75 hospitalized to date, 3 deaths as of August 5, 2009.

when you click the link to read the H1N1 Virus Partner Briefing for August 5, it links to the older July 29 report which still shows 2 deaths. I assume the summary of the August 5 report is correct, so I am listing a 3rd RI death on our U.S. count.
