قرر اللواء عبدالسلام المحجوب، وزير التنمية المحلية، إيقاف ٥٥ قيادة محلية عن العمل، ما بين سكرتير عام ومساعد للمحافظين ورئيس وحدة محلية ومجلس مدينة لـ?تقاعسهم عن تنفيذ بعض قرارات مواجهة أنفلونزا الخنازير،
ومنها عدم المرور على المدارس والوحدات الصحية والمستشفيات المركزية للتأكد من نظافتها فى ضوء التنسيق بين المحافظين ووزارتى الصحة والتربية والتعليم. ووصف المحجوب لـ?المصرى اليوم? الفيروس بأنه ?شرس?، مشدداً على ضرورة تكاتف الوزارات والمصالح الحكومية للتصدى له.
كشفت مصادر مطلعة فى وزارة التنمية المحلية ?أن التقارير التى تعدها الوزارة حالياً عن أداء المحافظين فى مواجهة المرض لها دور كبير فى استمرارهم أو تغييرهم خلال حركة المحافظين المقبلة?.
وعلى الصعيد نفسه، قررت محافظة الفيوم، أمس، إغلاق فصل دراسى بالمدرسة الإعدادية الإسلامية الخاصة بمدينة الفيوم لمدة أسبوعين بعد إصابة أحد تلاميذ الصف الثالث الإعدادى بالفيروس. وقررت محافظة جنوب سيناء غلق فصل بالصف الخامس الابتدائى بمدرسة شارم كوليدج الابتدائية الخاصة للغات بعد اكتشاف حالتين جديدتين بأنفلونزا الخنازير بالفصل.
