توفى ١٢ مريضاً، بينهم ٣ أطفال بالحضانات، و٩ بغرف العناية المركزة بمستشفى جامعة الزقازيق، نتيجة امتناع الأطباء عن العمل دون الممرضين والممرضات، الذين أعلنوا إضرابهم عن العمل، للمطالبة بالكادر وتأمين صحى كامل، وإقالة رئيس إدارة المستشفيات، الأمر الذى أدى إلى إصابة جميع عيادات وأقسام مستشفيات الجامعة بالشلل التام. 12
