The aedes aegypti mosquito, transmitter of dengue, is no longer the same: it has strengthened in recent years.
Now is "flyweight" admitted the Secretary of Health, H?ctor Ponce Ramos.
Before he only appeared in the hot season, the cold eradicated, not now, resists freezing temperatures and up to high places has migrated from the center of the Republic.
"The mosquito has mutated, there have been changes to it. We said that did not survive in high places and we've seen. We find in Queretaro, Hidalgo, Mexico state," he said.
"The mosquito has changed their life cycle. There have been mutations, became resistant. When did this problem in Sinaloa, where the first fall breeze that was it for dengue and now it seems that dengue has established its defense mechanisms as Every living organism and has adapted to the circumstances we have, "he said.
According to history, he said, dengue is its peak in November, although the temperatures begin their descent. Previously it was believed that the cold disappeared dengue because reproduction need warm temperatures, but this is no guarantee to the mutation of the insect.
"You can not trust the temperatures, must have clean houses," urged the Secretary.
And is that the mosquitoes breed in any stagnant water, so is a bottle caps. It is therefore important that citizens keep their yards clean.
Ponce Ramos said up to this weekend, there was an account of 800 cases of classic dengue and hemorrhagic fever. What it shows, proportionally, a slight decrease of the disease, which at the end of last year reached 245 thousand records.

Be forewarned
Eliminate breeding sites.
Keep yards clean.
Change water in vases and watering of animals.
Turn the trays into disuse.
Strengthen measures of household cleaning.
