The number of Zika patients in San Sai district, Chiang Mai, rose to 11 with two latest patients being pregnant women including a Myanmar one, both without a fever.
The number of Zika patients in San Sai district of Chiang Mai province has risen to 11, with the latest two pregnant.
Disease control officials in the northern province of Chiang Mai stated on Monday that the Zika tests on the last two patients were confirmed positive on Saturday.
One of them is a Thai who is six-months pregnant in tambon San Sai Luang. She had rashes but no fever. Her family members initially thought she was allergic to cat hair.
The other is a Myanmar woman aged 26 who is eight months pregnant. She lived in a rented room in same tambon and had arrived there about a month ago. She developed no rashes but had a neck pain for 20 days.
