MASCOT (WATE) - Deputies and Health Department workers swarmed a Knox County dairy farm Thursday after health officials say several children were sickened with E. coli.

The owner of McBee Dairy Farm on Strong Road in Mascot says she warns all her customers about the risk. Tennesseans can legally drink raw milk if they own the cow and McBee Dairy Farm is a privately owned cow-share operation...

Knox County dairy farm linked to E. coli outbreak

KNOXVILLE ? Local and state health officials are warning the public not to consume any raw milk or other dairy products from a Mascot-area farm now linked to multiple cases of E. coli bacterial infections.

Three children were hospitalized with confirmed E. coli infections last week after drinking raw milk from McBee Dairy Farm, a local cow-share dairy, according to Knox County Health Department spokeswoman Kathleen Killen.

Since then, more cases of infection have been identified, she said.

The Knox County Health Department and the East Tennessee Regional Office of the Tennessee Department of Health now are advising consumers to avoid all dairy products from the farm, and to dispose of any products they currently have from McBee Dairy Farm...

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Knox County Health Department and the East Tennessee Regional Office of the Tennessee Department of Health are allowing McBee Dairy farm to resume operations after determining an outbreak of E. coli related illness is over.

The two agencies are continuing to investigate the outbreak, which they say was linked to raw milk consumption...
