TAYLORSVILLE, Utah - A Taylorsville woman is fighting for her life after apparently being diagnosed with the H1N1 virus last Friday. The family of 26-year-old Danika Daniels said she is in extremely critical condition at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. Re: Taylorsville Woman Diagnosed With Swine Flu Fights to Live

I transcribed a few segments of the interview:

Reporter: ....We're told midweek last week they rushed her to the emergency room. She had flulike symptoms and a very serious headache, and two days later she was diagnosed with the swine flu. And tonight, we're told, she is fighting for her life.

David Reeves (boyfriend): They're saying there's a 50-50 chance. She may make it, may not. [....] Well, when she was coughing and experiencing headaches, and then the flu and the nausea set in, I should've recognized it. Guess I should've been harsh on her and grabbed her by the wrist and said, "Come on, let's go"....

Reporter: Now, Danika's boyfriend says she did have asthma and was a bit overweight, but other than that, he says, they didn't know of any other pre-existing health conditions that she did have. He says tonight her liver and lungs are both failing....
