Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas .- The Ministry of Health in Tamaulipas is the confirmation of the death of a 22-year due to influenza A H1N1, after being admitted to the General Hospital of Ciudad Victoria, informed the Chief of Epidemiology, Alfredo Rodr?guez Trujillo.

The state official said the results of the possible victim number 11 in Tamaulipas are today because they joined seven days after symptoms start, "making it difficult to detect quickly," he said.

"It requires a process of purification of the sample or if necessary the cultivation of it to confirm or rule out the virus," he added.

The woman, according to Rodriguez is originally from the town of Palmillas.

On Monday 5 October, the Health Secretary, John Mansur had confirmed that the unit was investigating the death of a pregnant woman and her product because of poor medical care.

She had died from influenza A H1N1.

Through a statement, the Federal Health Ministry, said the death toll from H1N1 influenza rose to 236, and confirmed cases in the country increased to 32 thousand 950 to date.

He noted that most infections are concentrated in the states of Chiapas, Yucatan, Mexico City, Jalisco, Veracruz, Tamaulipas and Tabasco, in that order.

The dependence of the Dead explained that human influenza, 51.2% were women and 48.8% men and 71.2% were between 20 and 54 years of age, 20% is occupied by one to 19 years, while 55 onwards have a rate of 8.9 percent.

Ciudad Victoria, Tam. October 7, 2009 .- The third wave of influenza is constantly in his warning to continue taking their toll, now is a 19 year old with Down syndrome who died after complications from A-H1N1 virus.
The young resident of the colony Sosa, was admitted to emergency in the Social Security clinic of the capital and the conditions and presenting symptoms, the test was applied rapid detection of influenza virus H1N1, later to be isolated for attention.
However, the pneumonia that had resulted in other complications and eventually died young first last October. So far, health authorities have not reported the death as part of the statistics on this deadly evil.
With the demise of the couple added and three deaths after the announcement of the third outbreak of influenza and 12 deaths accumulated since April, presented the disease, until this October.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Tamaulipas supply is not given to investigate every death is reported as a suspected Influenza A-H1N1, so the analysis are sent to the Institute of Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference, which is this, where are confirmed officially the deaths from the virus.

Victoria, Tamaulipas .- A 12 victims joined in Tamaulipas occurred because of human influenza A H1N1.

In the past six months since the virus came to the state, 12 people were killed and 453 others were hospitalized or at least have had to receive specialized medical care.

This morning, when interviewed during the ceremony Pledge of Allegiance, the Secretary of Health in Tamaulipas, Juan Guillermo Arzola Mansour referred to in the last two weeks killed three others.

"Of nine deaths had increased to 12, three more deaths, was a pregnant woman in the city of Matamoros and another person Miquihuana with obesity problems."

Mansour said Arzola human influenza is of porcine origin and only cambion name is the affectation that was causing the production of pork.

"He changed the name but still the same psyche swine flu nadamas now to try to avoid stop eating pork so it was called" he explained.

With regard to dengue, health officials noted that to date, have accumulated 423 cases, of which one third were hemorrhagic dengue.

Ciudad Victoria .- The Ministry of Health in Tamaulipas confirmed the two deaths due to influenza H1N1, one in the municipality of Matamoros and the other in Tampico, who came from the state of Veracruz, and was the mayor of Chinampa Gorostiza.

The epidemiologist of the Health Ministry, Alfredo Rodr?guez Trujillo, said that the patient was admitted on 11 October and on 12 hours later died at the private hospital in Tampico, explained that this person had physical characteristics that complicate the disease the patient.

Regarding the patient in Matamoros said it was a woman of 24 years of the colony Villa Towers, died of a complication of pneumonia.

Regarding the case of Tampico, the epidemiologist said:

"Veracruz is a man of 46, who died in a private hospital there in the private city of Tampico on the hospital Germain and the result is confirmed with H1N1 influenza, like the person in Matamoros," said epidemiologist.

So far confirmed 14 deaths are reported with H1N1 influenza, in Tamaulipas state in which 2 of them came from other states one of Veracruz and the other the state of Guanajuato, but those died in the territory of Tamaulipas.

He explained that a fence was established epidemiological in society of people who have died of this disease.

He explained that the people who came from other states have coordinated efforts to be health authorities of the states to attend to the social environment of people and dispel the possibility of more infections.

"We have established epidemiological fences to exclude any possibility of further infections, as we coordinate with state authorities where they come from infected people to also follow suit and dismiss any possibility," he said.

Secretary of Health (does not) recommend influenza rapid tests

Reynosa, Tamaulipas .- A total of 5 deaths have occurred in Reynosa as a result of influenza AH1N1 and there have been 138 confirmed cases of the disease said Secretary of Health in the state Arzola Juan Guillermo Manzur.

He said that these cases occurred early in the event of influenza and fortunately have been working hard on controlling this disease so fortunately there have been no deaths.

"Although there are patients who have remained infected with influenza, however, have developed satisfactorily. Reynosa is a city that has had great control and lots of work in regard to these two diseases that are hitting us lately as influenza and dengue.

NOT RECOMMENDED

Manzur said Arzola not recommend rapid testing of influenza because they are doctors who have to channel patients to order laboratory tests or given any treatment.

"The rapid test is not sensitive enough to say whether or not given treatment, we have to go for medical sensitivity based on symptomatology. I do not recommend rapid tests and the doctor must evaluate whether he is to give or withhold treatment and quote.

He said that due to this disease has not only saturated the hospitals in Reynosa, Tamaulipas if not all, but all, without exception, are prepared to give care to patients.

"Everyone is afraid and rightly so. Any problems that were driving influenza on an outpatient basis without any problems now all go to consultation and want to be treated and that good, which has resulted in hospitals there is a query on which we normally ".

However, there are enough beds in all hospitals in the event that a patient requires hospitalization because of influenza.

What about dengue?

On dengue, Manzur Arzola stated that this disease has not killed people in Reynosa thanks to the control was taken on the resolution and the publicity has been given to preventive measures.

"We are not currently in Reynosa one patient who died of dengue. We have confirmed 36 cases of dengue, 24 of these are classics and 12 are hemorrhagic.

He said it is necessary to remain vigilant and work together city council, state government and civil society to hold off the mosquito that transmits dengue.
