Take action on Venezuelan ports to prevent E. coli bacteria outbreak
Caracas, 15 Jun. AVN .- In order to avoid the presence in Venezuela of the bacterium Escherichia coli (E. coli), have established a series of prevention, surveillance and control at ports of Puerto Cabello, La Guaira , Maracaibo, gloves and Guamache.
Through a press release, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Ports (Bolipuertos), Elsa Gutierrez Graffe, said they have intensified review of the ships' crews, with mandatory submission of the declaration of healing of the vessel.
He said the crew will be reviewed thoroughly by the attending physician and any symptoms will be immediately sent to a health center to make the epidemiological fence.
