Tajikistan lifted the ban on the import of food
Tajikistan lifted the ban on the import of livestock products from over 15 countries in Europe and Asia such as Vietnam, Bangladesh, Norway, Spain, England and India. Told head of the inspection effort of State Service under veterinary supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture Todzhibek Norov.
The ban on the import of chicken and beef, dry milk and some other products of animal origin was associated with the fact that in these countries at various times have been outbreaks of avian influenza and foot and mouth disease.
Also several of these countries had never delivered the products to Tajikistan, but also on the list for security purposes.
