Last week, Taiwan health officials confirmed three additional enterovirus D68 infection with severe complications, prompting the Taiwan CDC to remind the public to pay attention to the health of the children in their household if suspected symptoms such as acute flaccid paralysis and numbness develop in a child, please take the child to seek medical attention immediately.

The 3 new cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications were respectively confirmed last week in a 2-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy who reside in southern Taiwan and a 15-year-old boy who resides in eastern Taiwan...
