Half lasted more than 153 hours, five times longer than the median length of stay in intensive care in the absence of a diagnosis of COVID-19 (29 hours). As a result, 22% of the hours of intensive care provided in hospitals in 2020 and 2021 were provided to people with a diagnosis of COVID-19, while they represented only 7% of patients with it. have benefited.
