<!-- Split page --><!-- Lead Content Panel -->THE swine flu has reached Canada's far north, as health officials confirmed the first case of H1N1 virus in the Yukon Territory in a woman who had recently travelled to Mexico.
Authorities reported 28 new cases nationally, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus in Canada to 358.
Last week, officials announced a woman had died of swine flu complications in late April and a young girl was recently hospitalised with severe symptoms, but was recovering.
All other Canadian cases have been mild.
Only Canada's island Newfoundland province in the North Atlantic so far remains untouched by the virus. :tiphat:http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0,23739,25472970-5003402,00.html
