Anil Chavan (40), a contractor, died at the Mission Hospital at Jalna on August 22, after ?shuttling between several hospitals, including the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Aurangabad, for treatment of respiratory disorder, infection, cold, cough and fever,? said Jalna civil surgeon B L Surwase.
Chavan had been suffering from respiratory disorder for the last one-and-a-half months. Around 3 pm on August 19, he was admitted to the civil hospital where his throat swab was obtained and sent for examination. He was referred to the GMCH, Aurangabad the same day.
