KRISTIANSTAD-?NGELHOLM. Two thousand pigs on a farm near Kristianstad has to be killed since salmonella discovered in the herd. No animal may leave the facility without permission of the Board of Agriculture, reports Radio Kristianstad. The farm risk being liable to result in animal welfare can not be maintained. Agriculture has decided that all animals should be slaughtered.
Even a farm outside ?ngelholm affected. There must be 8400 hens killed. It is not the first time salmonellosis occur in the yard. Since the 1990s, the infection detected several times.
