Sick moose with big nasty sores on the skin have been discovered in Kronoberg the past month. It's just big bulls hit. One of the five animals are now being analyzed by experts to find the cause.
- It looks as if there is some form of scabies or massive attack by ?lglusflugan who attacked the skin and made the animals sick. But of course it is just speculation so far, says jaktv?rdskonsulent Elias Turesson the Swedish Hunters Association.
To get answers to what the animals hit by a moose from a whole now run up to Ultuna and the National Veterinary Institute, for analysis. A skin from another bull should also be examined. Answers can be expected in a few days.
