Suspected swine flu patient dies in Indore

Indore, Dec 1 (PTI) A 25-year-old girl, suspected to be suffering from swine flu, died here today during treatment in a private hospital, officials said.

The patient identified as Sonia Kaur was admitted to the hospital two-days ago, after she complained of breathing problem.

The samples of her swab has been sent to Regional Medical Research Centre, Jabalpur for confirming whether she died of swine flu or some other disease, the officials said, adding that she was also suffering from a heart disease.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth tested positive for the swine flu in neighbouring Pithampur industrial town.

He is undergoing treatment in a hospital here, where his condition is reported to be stable.
