The Vilig?ncia Epidemiol?gica of the Municipal General office of Health confirmed yesterday more six cases of flu A, in Thick Tip. Now 48 are the registers of H1N1 done in the local authority from the beginning of June, with the monitoramento of 1.266 persons who had contact with the confirmed patients of the flu or because of presenting some symptom of the disease. 11 patients remain interned in regular bed and two in ICU. These patients are suspect of having contracted the flu A and they are waiting for the result of the examination. Of 112 fulfilled examinations, 64 were negativados for the virus H1N1.
Brazil registered 790 cases and 85 deaths for influenza A (H1N1) - pig flu of the beginning of 2012 up to the end of June. The quantity of persons who fell ill is four times superior to 181 cases detected in 2011 and the deaths correspond to three times the 27 computed ones in last year.
